Méthode de laveuse Définition
The washer method is a method for computing the volume of a solid of revolution that is hollow about its axis by integrating over the volumes of infinitesimal washer-shaped slices bounded by planes perpendicular to the axis of revolution. The washer method is a generalized version of the disk method. Both the washer and disk methods are specific cases of volume by parallel cross-sections.
