The microohm is a multiple of the unit ohm (Ω) for electrical resistance. The International System of Units (SI) defines the prefix micro (μ) as a factor of 10-6 or 0.000001. Per this definition, one microohm is 10-6 ohms. The microohm is represented by the symbol μΩ.
