The decaampere otherwise referred to as the dekaampere (daA) is a multiple of the unit ampere (A) for electric current. The International System of Units (SI) defines the prefix deca (da) as a factor of ten. Per this definition, one decaampere is 10 amperes. The decaampere is represented by the symbol daA.
