Rep (rep) Vienības definīcija
The rep or röntgen equivalent physical is a legacy unit of radiation exposure first introduced by Herbert Parker in 1945 to replace an improper application of the roentgen (R) unit to biological tissue. The parker (parker) is equivalent to the rep and is named after Herbert Parker. The rep is the absorbed energetic dose before the biological efficiency of the radiation is factored in. The rep has variously been defined as 83 or 93 ergs (erg) per gram (g) of tissue (8.3/9.3 mGy) or per cubic centimeter (cm3) of tissue. The rep is represented by the symbol rep.
