Ampere-Turn (AT) Unit Definition
The ampere-turn is a unit of magnetomotive force that represents a direct current of one ampere (A) flowing in a single turn loop in a vacuum. Turns refers to the winding number of an electrical conductor composing an inductor. The ampere-turn is equivalent to the meter kilogram second (m⋅kg⋅s) and is represented by the symbol AT.
